The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board is an autonomous public sector body established in May 2011 by an Act of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to promote information technology, information technology-driven services, and information technology education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is undergoing digital transformation, with mobile and internet connectivity rapidly expanding. It has the potential to significantly boost growth, create new jobs, and improve service delivery.
The Digital KP, a provincial strategy focused on supporting regulations, institutions, and capabilities, is assisting with this digital transformation. The strategy is built on four pillars: digital access, digital governance, the digital economy, and digital skills.
